To watch my girls is to watch Animal Planet.
Even in a docile moment, with all three in various states of lounging, girl scowls relaxed, eyes fixed on devices, it takes just one swipe of frivolity. This one takes a swipe at that. Another pelts one with a pillow. And it’s on.
Serenity lasts as long as a pack of string cheese around these.
So when a moment happens like the one in today’s picture, you don’t wait. You whip out your $20 Android on a Father’s Day Spiderman binge, and you capture the moment. It didn’t last long, as you might imagine.
Someone pinched someone, or maybe it was a scratch or a noogie.
Regardless, the peace broke like a levy. Or at least a crack in the damn. And while dad tried to really concentrate on Gwen Stacy like he always does, the hooligans had their own cinematic tussle, until the dust settled and they rested again to watch the movie.
Haha, my sister and I still have moments like these! Love it!
Who instigates, Tiff? I have a feeling it’s you.
😉
“Animal Planet” – best sibling description ever! It truly is like herding wild dogs some times.
I used to do the Steve Irwin bit with the girls, taping them in their natural environment, getting just close enough to get devoured by the beast.Wild dogs at least don’t have the opposable thumbs that make children so dangerous.
